Frequently Asked Questions

  • What art supplies are provided?
    Most materials are provided for each class. Please read class description for full details. Drawing Supplies: paper, the use of pencils, pastels, charcoals, inks Painting Supplies: paint and the use of brushes If you require specialty materials, please bring them with you to class.
  • Are food and beverages allowed in the studio?
    Drinks and snacks are welcome, but please do not bring any food or beverages that would jeopardize the health of another student. We do not allow any nuts or nut butters in the classroom due to the risk of allergic reactions. Please refrain from sharing food or beverages with other students.
  • Can I leave my work in the studio?
    ART 101 is not responsible for work left in the studio for extended periods of time. In the case of works in progress that are wet, or your canvas is drying, we will hold for you until your next session and/or during your enrollment period. For single-date classes where your work is wet at the end of class, please communicate with the instructor to confirm you will pick up your work within a week of leaving it at our studio. If you cannot pick up your work within the one week period, please email the studio manager to make a special request for an alternative pickup date. We are not responsible for work left in our studio beyond one week after a completed class. If we do not hear from you, your canvas will be recycled.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    To receive a credit for future use, cancellations must be sent via email at least 48 hours in advance of reserved class date/time. Note: we do not accept verbal notifications, personal texts, or phone calls to instructors or the studio. We do not offer refunds. Failing to notify at least 48 hours in advance will result in loss of rescheduling or credit.
  • What if I do not show up for a class that I paid for?
    If you do not show up for your enrolled class or camp, you are considered a no-show and are not entitled to any refund, credit, or rescheduling.
  • Are you closed on snow days declared by the D.O.E?
    Yes. When the schools are physically closed we are as well.
  • What are your health protocols?
    Masks are optional for all classes and events, including private parties. Those who prefer to wear a face covering are encouraged to do so. We ask anyone attending our classes and events to not attend if exhibiting any symptoms of contagious illnesses. Thorough cleaning and sanitizing protocols are used throughout our studio. Follow good hygiene habits, including the use of hand sanitizer.
  • What is an FAQ section?
    An FAQ section can be used to quickly answer common questions about you or your business, such as “Where do you ship to?”, “What are your opening hours?” or “How can I book a service?” It’s a great way to help people navigate your site and can even boost your site’s SEO.
